So apparently the hot new trend in the beauty world are these terrible new eyeshadow sticker things. They're basically temporary tattoos for your eyelids being disguised as "makeup", and they come in all sorts of ugly colors and patterns (they're apparently targeting the tackiest demographic on the planet). I first found out about them from those awful ads Facebook targets to people specifically based on their personal information (soooo creepy).
This was the ad I was presented with:
At first I assumed that they were a fictional product being marketed to me due to the fact that my profile picture has me covered in multi-colored paint, so I figured they made up this magical product to cater to me. But no, these things are very, very real.
Sephora is all over this shit:
This just seems like it has the potential to fail. What happens if you don't get the stickers applied evenly to each eye? Then you've got wonky, unbalanced eye makeup! And something tells me they probably will start peeling and cracking after a half hour. Also-- if I ever saw a laydee with Zebra print eyes I'd be like "Uhh, what happened to you, why did you do that?". The verdict is in, and Eyeshadow Stickers and their heinous patterns are a NO.

These are actually very cool, if you try them. I have quite a few of them, and they are not tattoo's for your eyes, they are simply shadows that you press onto your eyelids. you almost can't make a mistake with these, and there is no peeling or cracking at all. I wore them for the first time for about 10 hours with no problems, i could even wipe my finger across my eye without pulling the make up off. The patterns are a little odd, but they work well for Halloween.
